how it works

Four steps. Two minutes. One number that actually makes sense.

Step 1 — Tell us about you

Enter your age, current weight, goal weight, and how active you are day to day. This gives us your personal baseline — the calories your body needs just to function and move.

Step 2 — Tell us about your baby

Enter your baby's age and weight, and how much of their feeding comes from breastmilk — either as a percentage or in millilitres per day. This is the number most apps completely ignore. We don't.

Step 3 — We do the calculation

Using the Harris-Benedict equation for your basal metabolic rate, WHO data on breastmilk energy output, and published walking expenditure research, we calculate exactly how many calories your body is burning — including the ones spent making milk. Then we subtract a safe, gentle deficit to reach your goal.

Step 4 — Your plan is ready

You get a personalised daily calorie target, a milk supply safety rating, a weekly budget you can spread flexibly, and a projected timeline to your goal. Update it any time your baby's feeding changes.
